Preparation programs, alternative-certification providers and districts

Seat-based accounts exist for organizations that answer for whether their candidates pass — a university program reporting pass rates, an alternative-certification provider enrolling a cohort, a district carrying teachers on emergency or intern certificates who have a deadline to test. Cohort readiness before the test date is the thing those buyers actually want. It is an institutional arrangement rather than a plan you can buy on this page, so the price depends on the number of seats: pricing on request. A seat is the same product an individual subscriber gets — it is not coursework, it is not field experience, it carries no credit, and it does not change what your state requires of the person sitting in it.

The part that compounds: one certificate is rarely one test. A basic-skills test, a pedagogy test, one or two content tests, a reading test, and for half of every elementary cohort at least one retake. What they are is a static bank per test title with a score attached — the questions do not change, the constructed responses are self-graded against a sample, and nothing you prove on one title informs the next.

The testing vendor’s own courses and practice tests

Around $99.99 for a single course with a six-month window, plus $20–$50 for an official practice test. Buy the official practice test. It is the closest thing to the real form’s look and pacing, we cannot replicate that and would not claim to, and it is the one purchase in this category we would tell you to make alongside ours rather than instead of it.

Per-exam courses and classes

Recorded courses at roughly $100 each with bundles near $225, live classes around $175, and state-specific tools from $30 to $55. A good instructor explaining a hard test is a real thing and we are not pretending otherwise — but a course written for one exam is written for one exam, and a recording cannot notice that you keep missing the same category.

Where we sit, stated plainly: for one test, once, a $29.99 month of a static bank is a reasonable purchase and we are not going to pretend it is not. Where we win is everything after the first test — the second, third and fourth are included rather than repurchased, nothing you proved gets thrown away between them, the constructed responses are actually graded rather than self-scored against a sample, and the subject test is built from the subject instead of from a compressed guide. One incumbent advertises a pass guarantee; we do not offer one and are not going to imply one. A guarantee on an exam somebody else writes is a set of conditions rather than a promise, and it is worth reading them before it counts as a reason.

Can I really cancel any time?
Yes, in one click from your account. Paid access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after that. Switching off after a test and back on when the next one is booked is the normal pattern here, not an edge case.
Is there a trial?
There is a 7-day free trial, and it is per product — sign up through AccelaStudy AI Educators and you trial AccelaStudy AI Educators. One trial per product, per account. Teaching Foundations is separately free and needs no trial and no card.
Why is this cheaper than the adaptive incumbent?
Because of who buys it. This is the lowest-paid licensed profession in the country and a great many candidates are undergraduates or career changers paying out of pocket for three to five tests plus the fees. We would rather be the obvious yes at $29/mo than the defensible maybe at more.
What is included?
Everything on this site: the Praxis tests, your state’s series, the reading tests, special education and English learners, constructed responses graded without limit, the classroom data, the conversations, the law lookup, the ParaPro, and the principal and superintendent exams. There are no add-ons and no premium tier above this one.
Which plan should I be on?
If you have one test booked inside a couple of months, monthly. If you are working through a program with three to five tests ahead of you, or you expect a retake, annual — which is cheaper from month ten onward and covers a certification year.
Are test fees included?
No. Registration and the test fee are paid to the testing vendor — commonly $55 for the paraprofessional test, $79 to $156 for a certification test, and considerably more for a leader exam. Coursework, field experience and the program recommendation come from your preparation program. None of it is part of this subscription.
Do you sell seats to programs and districts?
Yes, as an institutional arrangement rather than a plan on this page. Pricing is on request and depends on the number of seats — get in touch and say roughly how many candidates you are putting through and for which tests. A seat is the same product an individual gets: not coursework, not field experience, and no credit of any kind.
What if I fail and have to retake?
Resubscribe for the weeks you need and pick up where you left off — your profile, your proficiency and your history are preserved, which is worth more on a retake than another bank of questions. Praxis retakes are allowed after 28 days with no limit; some state series cap attempts. There is no pass guarantee here and no refund tied to a result.
Why is the button disabled?
